But due to the party’s internal undemocratic behavior, pressure and negative politics, he has officially withdrawn from the Gana Odhikar Parishad.
Golam Rabbani said, “On June 11, I submitted a written resignation from the post of convener. Even then, the central committee of the Gana Odhikar Parishad did not accept my resignation and issued a fake expulsion order against me last Wednesday. In that order, baseless allegations of being associated with the Awami League were made against me.” Golam Rabbani claimed that since he is a businessman, he was pressured at various times to participate in fascist Awami League events and donate. However, he was never a member of the Awami League or held a responsible position. But political opponents are running various types of propaganda against him on social media to humiliate him socially and damage his political career.
Stating his full trust in the NCP at the press conference, Golam Rabbani said, “The leaders and workers of Naogaon have accepted me as an ordinary member of the NCP.”
